Getting started

This page has some information to help get you started using the round table. It will cover signing up for an account and how to post & comment.

Signing up for an account

You will receive an email asking if you would like to join the round table. (if you haven’t received one and would like to join let me know).

1. Fill in the details as required (see picture below) – username, password, email address, tick the terms of service box and tick the ‘just a username please’ box. (You can easily set up a new blog if you want later).

2. WordPress will send you a confirmation email. Click on the link to confirm and then you are joined up.

Writing a post

1.Go to the round tables webpage.

2. On the right hand side you will see a link to ‘log in’ or ‘site admin’. Click on here and login.

3. This will take you to the dashboard (see picture below). To write a post you only need to click on the ‘write’ button in the top left hand corner of the screen. Once you have finished writing your post click on ‘submit for review’. It will send the post to an administrator to publish (We are trying to work around this at the moment).
